Wonderful serum even for sensitive skin!
I absolutely love this serum! In three weeks it has really helped to even out my skin tone and my stubborn acne scarring is slowly fading. The photo above is before and after, 21 days apart with the same lighting, no makeup and no filter. I am excited to see further progress and will definitely continue to use this serum. Honestly, I was surprised to see such great results with something so gentle on my sensitive skin. Usually if I use Vitamin C products more than once or twice a week it aggravates my combination skin and I get dry peeling patches on my cheeks. I can actually use this serum both day and night without irritation. It absorbs quickly, pairs well with every moisturizer and sleeping mask I've tried with it, and wears well under makeup without any pilling or oiliness. It hasn't caused any breakouts either. Unlike many Vitamin C products that have a strong fake orange scent this has a more natural citrus and clove smell that I really enjoy. I am a big fan of Perricone MD products in general, but this one is my favorite yet.

nice gentle vitamin c product
I am enjoying this product. It comes in an opaque brown bottle with a pump. I was surprised to see it came in a 2 ounce bottle because most vitamin C serums are 1 ounce. I suspect this is because L-Ascorbic Acid is notorious for oxidizing and losing its potency rather quickly. Perricone CCC contains an Ascorbic Acid Ester (along with 2 other vitamin C derivatives) which creates a more stable formula that is less likely to oxidize and also less likely to cause irritation. I like the lightweight creamy texture that is easy to spread and absorbs nicely. This product plays perfectly well with all of my other skincare products in my routine. In the past, I have had some sensitivity to L-Ascorbic Acid based products but I haven't had any problems with this. I use it every morning after cleansing and toning and before moisturizer and spf. After using it for several weeks, I haven't noticed any lightening of my pigmentation but I do think my skin overall looks a little brighter. Most brightening/lightening can take a while to show up but you will get the antioxidant benefits of these ingredients right away. My only negative about this product is the inclusion of fragrance and limonene and linalool. I realize that Vitamin C serums with vitamin E and ferulic acid can often have a sort of natural hot dog scent to them but I'd prefer that to the lemony citrus attempt to cover that up. That said, I don't find the fragrance to be overpowering and it does fade. While I strongly prefer fragrance-free skincare, I will still continue to use and enjoy this product.

Will Not Replace CE Ferulic
Reviewing Perricone MD CCC+ Ferulic Brightening Complex 20% First impressions of this product are that the packaging feels solid and high-end. The bottle is great size and I love that it is a pump. I have been a life-long Vitamin C user and was excited to try this new product. Since I have been using Vitamin C for so long, I fully expected a bit of the hotdog water smell, but this seemed even stronger of a smell than what I have experience with other brands. I did not find the smell to be so off-putting as to not continue use. I was surprised by the texture of the product - it is closer to a light moisturizer than the more liquid Vitamin C serums I have used, like SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic or Drunk Elephant's C-Firma. It is also opaque, which was surprising. I had hoped that due to the consistency of the product, maybe it would not be terribly drying on my skin. Alas, maybe an hour after applying my skin felt uncomfortably tight. It also had a very light sting upon application, not uncommon with Vitamin C, and not surprising considering the high Vitamin C percentage in this product. Despite this, I decided to give the product a fair chance to feel how it would do over a few days of wearing it. On the third day I also had an itchy spot and when I touched said spot, I found that the product pilled up. One of, my least favorite byproducts of skincare products is pilling. It makes me feel unclean, like my face is coming off. At this point I decided that the product is not for me and went back to my trusted C. E. Ferulic.

Results?
Not quite. I've been using this product twice a day for about one month . I use it as a serum after I wash my face and apply moisturizer over it. I haven't noticed much of a change in any brightening or clarity of my skin. This product seem to have fallen short on results. I do have some slight hyper pigmentation from previous acne scars as well as sun spots. The dark spots that I have are relatively light to begin with and I would have expected this product to lighten them drastically over the course of a month. I was really hoping that this combination of brightening agents, would really allow my best skin to shine through. The fragrance was a little off putting but it doesn't have to smell great to work great. After washing my face (combo/oily) I would apply the serum. If left a tacky, almost sticky texture to my skin. I would need to pay it with a towel before applying my moisturizer.

the smell!!!
I haven't noticed any drastic difference in my skin. I've been using this twice per day for several weeks. I had no adverse reactions which is a plus. Even if I saw a noticeable difference, I can't stand the smell. It smells rotten and lingers for quite some time after application. For that reason alone, i wouldn't purchase again.

nice vitamin c product
This is a nice vitamin c lotion. I really prefer it to the usually oily vitamin c serums I have used before. It has a nice citrus scent and feels nice on the skin, not oily or tacky. I think it has made my skin feel brighter after using for about a month. The pump on the bottle makes application easy. Recommended!

I've recently become more interested in using anti-aging products on my face. I used to keep it very simple with a cleanser and moisturizer but I realize I need a little more. I really like how easy this serum was to rub in. It didn't leave a residue and I actually noticed that my face looks brighter after about 7-10 days of use! I would definitely recommend!

Brightener of my dreams!
So I got this about a month ago and was really not expecting to much in such a short time because whenever I get skincare it always takes a while to for it to start working. But this one was fast, the first few days I broke out a bit but it was because I was also using a pretty strong vitamin c cleanser. After that adjustment it was amazing. I also love that I didn't need to use a huge amount to see a difference. It went on very smooth and light and did not have a very strong scent. Very easy to layer with other products. Just check so you don't cross ingredients:)

I feel like this serum lightened and brightened my skin. It does not take a lot to cover your face and neck. It leaves your skin taunt but not dry or oily. It's one of those products I could see using year round and you notice when you stop using it. Must have!

Just ok.
I was super excited about this product. I want a new Vitamin C serum and haven't found one I loved. This one smelled better than most and I liked the feel of the lotion. But I haven't been blown by this product yet. It's super expensive and I just haven't seen any results. I have redness I would like to calm down and so far nothing.
