The Perricone MD brightening serum is pure magic! My skin is normally hyper sensitive to vitamin-c products but I have no issues with this. I normally have red, uneven skin tones but this serum has all but eliminated those issues! The dark spots under my eyes have faded and the texture of my skin is smoother. I use the serum morning and night after cleansing and before my moisturizer (helpful hint- use a gentle exfoliator a couple times a week in conjunction with this... you're welcome!). Miracle Serum!!!
To say I was pleasantly surprised with serum is an understatement. I have been using it for the last month and WOW!! I have the worst dark circles under my eyes. Using this cream every morning before applying my daily makeup has made a world of difference. I used to be embarassed to leave the house without concealer. Not the case anymore. This serum moisturizes without being greasy. No awful strong odors and doesn`t irriatate my eyes. Very high quality Vitamin C serum, I love it!
I have been using Vitamin C serums for years. I have used higher priced as well cheaper serums. While price doesn't always designate quality, in this case the price does reflect the quality of this serum. It smells very nice, herbal and refreshing with the citrus undertone. It is pretty moisturizing when I apply it, which my dry skin loves. It's not heavy or greasy, however. The thing about Vitamin C serums is that you must use them regularly for awhile to see significant brightening effects. I haven't used this quite long enough to judge how well it might help brighten my skin. I have melasma on my forehead, upper lip, and a bit around my eyes. I follow a pretty strict routine to lighten those areas and I've been slacking off a bit lately so that will slow any improvement as well. It does, however, lend my skin a glow when I use it that is quite encouraging! Over all I am very happy with this product. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. I love the way my skin feels
As I am getting closer to turning 40 I've noticed how dull my skin is ,I have fine lines & discoloration. I've never thought about my skin needing brightening...never thought it looked dull until I tried this. After testing it for 2 weeks I noticed that my bare skin looked brighter and healthier. More amazing...others noticed it too and complimented me daily. Simple to use and it only takes a little to smooth on and go. I've been going foundation free since I got this and it feels amazing. The only reason I give this a 4 star is because I have experienced small breakouts twice while using this and contribute it to this product since other than my normal face wash and moisturizer this is the only addition to my skincare routine. It wasn't a catastrophic breakout but noticeable. It may only have been my skin trying to get used to it though. What a nice surprise! I didn't expect to see results that fast, but I really did. I washed my face daily and put this on before make up or before bed, and I noticed a brighter look right away. Definitely got better after longer use, but I am so impressed. Starting to notice a slight decrease in some lines too. Awesome! I have tried skin brightening serums before, so I was wary about this one. It is amazing! First of all, the scent is citrusy but light. Very nice. Secondly, the texture is lightweight and isn't greasy. The serum goes on smoothly and absorbs right in. It did not make my skin break out, and I tend to have sensitive skin. I noticed brighter-looking skin within two days of use, and I only use this at night. I did receive a complimentary bottle from Influenster for review purposes, and this review reflects my own opinions.
