Reduced Redness and some improvement with cystic bump size
I have used many Perricone MD products prior to this acne relief maximum strength clearing treatment and have been very pleased with the results. The products I have used prior to this are for anti-aging and I was very curious to see how this acne relief line would be for my face. I have an oily complexion with my oiliest areas being in the tea zone. I tend to get some whiteheads and cystic acne around my chin that it can be quite painful and has left some deep scarring over the years. I applied this product when I noted a painful cystic acne eruption on my lower right chin area. I used the product as directed twice a day and not only applied a layer to the affected active area but also applied a thin coat over my entire face. I returned to the lower chin area and used it as a topical treatment an extra time each day so mid day I would typically apply a thin coat over the blemishes. I did notice that this thin liquid treatment had a mildly sticky consistency when I was gently applying it on my face. This made me hesitant to apply further moisturizers until I felt that it was fully absorbed as my face felt a bit tacky. This tackiness did subside after a minute or two however I noticed that I was left behind with a shine which was quite unexpected as this contained salicylic acid and did not feel greasy upon application. I did follow up with my moisturizers and SPF on my face, however I noticed a glossier complexion than I typically would have without this product in my routine. I will say that it definitely improved the redness on my chin area over a two week period of use. However I would not say that it significantly sped up the healing of the acne like I would have hoped. I still felt approximately the same level of discomfort associated with acne for the same duration I would expect without using this product. I hoped that it would not only decrease redness and help with the discomfort but would also shorten the healing time for this patch of skin. I will say that this did not dry my skin or make it more sensitive. I am just not sure of that yet significantly helped to treat my troublesome acne in the manner that I would have expected from a Perricone MD product.

Effective
I had a small whitehead pop up I used this and that Timmy bump was gone the next morning it was just a dot! I am definitely happy with this product. I get clogged pores quite often which if left untreated can make pimples. This gets in there and gets the gunk.

Worked Great!!
I loved testing this product, it worked great on my skin and did dry my skin after use. My skin felt tingly and fresh. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has acne prone skin.

Wonderful product
This product reminds me of the acne gel i used to buy from Clinique but this is in lotion form & you get a lot more of it. It was not harsh or heavy on my skin.which I love. & it helped my problem areas without drying out my normal skin.

I'd never tried anything from Perricone MD so I was curious how well it would work when BzzAgent gave me a bottle of the Acne Relief Maximum Clearing Treatment to try in exchange for my honest opinion. This is different from any other acne product I've tried before, it's extremely thick and creamy, smells a bit like nail polish but the scent isn't too noticable after you apply it. My skin can be sensitive to new products but this didn't bother it at all. No irritation, redness, or dry skin. I applied it per the directions, starting small, but it can be used 1-3 times daily as needed. It does say to use with the Perricone MD acne relief cleanser, which I didn't have, I just used a gentle cleanser that my wife gave me. The product seems to work well on it's own. My pimples definitely seemed to calm down and dry up faster than with some other products I've used. The salicylic acid is effective and works quickly and the added plant extracts and oat protein kept my skin healthy and moisturized. I definitely recommend trying.

I didn't have any issues with this product, but to be honest I didn't see any insane positive results. I like the brand and plan to continue using to see if my skin just needs more time to see the effects

MAGIC IN A BOTTLE! This Perricone MD Acne Relief Maximum Strength Clearing Treatment has done wonders for my skin. As soon as I spot acne I immediately put a small amount on it. The next day, it's either gone or has gotten smaller in size. It's also very gentle on the skin. This is my new holy grail!!

Love it!
I've had the chance to use this product for a few weeks now and I've already seen a noticeable difference in my complexion. My skin has felt a lot smoother and I've noticed improvement in small blemishes. I use this treatment after I wash my face and before moisturizing. This product applies smoothly and evenly without effort and is very creamy and light. In addition, I have seen a noticeable difference in the reduction of excess oil on my skin and my makeup has lasted longer as a result. I would recommend this product to anyone with minor blemishes, oil prone skin, and even sensitive skin.

Sticky without noticeable results
I love most of the products in the Perricone MD Acne Relief line, especially the toner, so I was excited to try this Treatment. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. I found the consistency sticky and somewhat hard to apply. I also didn't care for the smell. I used the product nightly for a couple of weeks but didn't see many noticeable results although my skin felt moisturized. I'd continue buying other products in the line but not this one.
