Bye Bye Acne
I have always had problems with acne right before my menstrual start and during my menstruals it's even worse. I actually got really lucky that this came in while I was on my cycle, so I got to actually see the difference. By the end of my cycle any of the acne that I had was either gone or almost gone. It's a non greasy lightweight toner the only thing that I didn't like was the smell but it wasn't nothing that you can't get past it's not strong or overbearing and if you're like me you using other products too so you're not even going to notice by the time you're done. I would say use this on a daily morning and night routine for the best results and if you have any type of acne problem I believe this is wonderful for you and if you have sensitive skin problems like I do there's no worry it doesn't burn or cause any irritations at least not for me and I would say try it keep it in the routine.

Perfect Everyday Exfoliating Toner
I'm 31 and still have occasional breakouts, so I love salicylic, lactic, and succinct acids to help chemically exfoliate to help with that, plus pores and overall skin texture. I've been using this morning and evenings where I'm not using a retinol for about 3 weeks now, and 100% notice a difference. They recommend using it with a cotton pad, which I do most of the time, but sometimes if my skin is feeling in-need of a little mid day refresher i'll just pat some on. It layers well under all of my serums/moisturizers/sunscreen combos so far. It's 2% salicylic acid, so enough to do some active work, but not so strong that I can't use it every day - which I appreciate. I also love the glass bottle and packaging. Definitely recommend!

BHA that doesn't irritate…
Perricone MD recently gifted me their Acne Relief Gentle Exfoliating Toner in exchange for my honest opinion. I was thrown by the strong smell of alcohol the first time I opened the bottle, but after that initial blast, it's just a faint herbal, leafy scent with the alcohol barely detectable. It did make me take note that alcohol is the second ingredient after water and gave me some pause. I went ahead and tried it, bolstered by the mostly good experiences I've had with the dozen or so Perricone MD products I've used in the past and currently use. The salicylic acid is a 2% concentration. I generally do better with 1%, but despite the higher percentage and the alcohol, this toner really is gentle. It came at the beginning of a stress cystic breakout, and my family experienced three deaths in a matter of two weeks. I should also note that I have an excoriation issue; picking is my oldest and most apparent anxiety tell, and I've been in an awful place…as has my skin. I use this toner in my nighttime routine twice a week and sometimes skip retinol night to add a third, if needed. I also use it to spot treat during the day, if I'm not using other actives. I don't get the tenderness I often get when using higher concentrations of BHA, but I do get the dryness, particularly in drier areas like my jawline. I combat it with a hyaluronic acid serum and gel moisturizer. I seal that in with a thin layer of either an oil or just a moisturizer containing oil, depending on how dry the air feels. Performance-wise, I started with 8 (9?) cystic pimples, a host of blackheads and a few whiteheads. It's completely flattened all but two of the cystic pimples I had, including those I couldn't see but could feel budding underneath. It also got rid of a pesky whitehead I was picking at but couldn't get out before I could create yet another scar. This toner is the truth, and I'm quite shocked that it didn't freak out my skin. No irritation, no burning, even with all the actives in it. I'm not super sensitive, but I'm extremely reactive, and my skin has never reacted well to any but the most minimal concentration of salicylic acid, but I've had zero reactions and all the acne control using this toner. This is the reason I'm willing to roll the dice when it comes to Perricone MD products…I was doubtful this one would work, but it came through, and I plan to keep it in my rotation.

Perricone MD Acne Relief Gentle Exfoliating Toner
I was given this product for free from @buzzagent and @ Perricone MD in exchange for my honest review -1ST DAY- It burned a little, but-that's to be expected. I agree that combined with other acne medication, it could dry out my face. If we pay attention & listen to our body it'll tell us what we need or don't need. -2ND DAY- it didn't burn this time, & didn't dry out my face. So far no break-outs. I did notice it bringing blackheads on my nose & cheeks to the surface. DAY 3- my face has made a little improvement and is getting better everyday ! Day 4- loving this product and can tell a big difference , my face is almost healed. I'm sure it may take a week or two but it's definitely working Day 5- it's starting to minimize my pores after cleaning them out! In love with this * How does this product compare to other products you've tried? -This product is actually healing my skin as were the other products I have tried were breaking me out and hurting my skin- * What are some benefits of owning this product? -Even if your face heals and you quit using it you'll always have it and know that you have something to clear up your face and that works- * Would you buy this product? -Yes!! Definitely helps with acne
I was luckily able to start trying this toner out when my acne was acting up. I had a couple old ones and some new ones so it was the most opportune time to try out a toner with salicylic acid. I have combination skin and I used this toner with a cotton pad in the evening after I've washed my face. It definitely targets my acne and it's been quite gentle to my skin. The only downside is that it's been pretty drying so you definitely need to moisturize well afterwards. Even though I only used it at night, my face was also pretty dry during the day too.

I'm a very simple girl and I really love using new products especially ones that have salicylic acid acne treatments and this one is actually a really nice one. the perricone MD acne relief gentle exfoliating toner has such a great watery consistent that it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. once I wash my face I thought the toner on my affected area on my skin and I like doing it in the morning and in the evening I let my face dry and then place a very light moisturizer that has helped me clear my skin a lot. I did not feel that it was irritating to my skin and it was not as drying as I thought it would be like a toner that I have used in the past. this is actually such a great product and very modern that does not feel like that toner astringent that we once used when we were teens. The best benefit about owning this product is that it feels luxurious on the skin it has such a nice glass bottle and it's very easy to use. the top is easy to open with your wet hands and it's just an overall really nice scented that it's not overpowering like that strong alcohol smell that we are used to in our toners. I would buy this product all over again because it is a really nice product. my skin feels beautiful it reduces all the dirt that we collect throughout the day. and I do feel that it does exfoliate my skin and it does unclog the enlarged pores and it helps to clear the blemishes like the whiteheads and blackheads and it really does keep my skin very calm and soothe My acne prone skin. I love the way I feel that it's very clean feeling and very refreshed and I do love that clean skin that does not feel shiny and oily. I do recommend this product to all my friends and my family because it is a really nice product to use. I feel that this whole 2 weeks that I've had this product it has worked tremendously on my skin and I think it's so nice. the ingredients are really nice it has lactic and succinic acid that really helps with clearing bacteria. Easy on the skin, tough on acne!
I have a hard time finding an acne relief that doesn't completely dry my skin out but also gets the job done. I think my skin is softer and clearer looking after using Perricone MD! Highly recommend!

Great gentle toner!
